Program Description: |
The M.S.E. in Reading
will allow educators to become reading specialists in the area of literacy.
The planned program offered 30 hours in reading plus 6 hours of required
core instruction. The program focuses on all aspects of literacy from
emergent to adolescent. Emphasis on literacy cognition, literacy
leadership, and literacy interventions are included in the program.
Candidates may also choose an area of emphasis which might include: Reading
for Diverse Learners; National Board, Literacy Leadership, or Literacy
Generalist. |

Admission Requirement: |
* Conditional admission requires the
student to earn a minimum grade of B or better in the first two classes of
the graduate program. |
